A deep burgundy lizard bag, rounded and sculptural, closed with a vintage kiss-lock frame. This is Miuccia Prada's design language at its clearest; an unexpected, texture-forward material paired with a clean, restrained shape. Open it, and the suede lining reveals a pop of color: a signature of Miuccia to create a bit of play reserved for the wearer alone. Two pockets at the front, one slip pocket within. Pieces like this from Miu Miu's early archive are increasingly scarce in this condition.

Black patent leather, glossy and plain except for the clasp: a curved piece of python, hooked through a straight bar of the same trim. This is Miuccia Prada's own instinct: a quiet shape, with all the interest held in one place instead of spread across the bag. Open it, and the lining is grosgrain. The strap is long and thin. A clasp built as its own object, not a piece of branded hardware, is rare even within Prada's own history.
